FAQs
How is your Pork raised?
Our pigs are pasture raised, never in confinement and grain finished.
How is your beef raised?
Our premium 100% Black Angus beef is raised on pasture with plenty of room to roam, then finished with grain to enhance marbling and flavor. This approach combines the benefits of pasture-raised cattle with the exceptional taste and tenderness that grain finishing provides.
What does "no hormones or antibiotics" really mean?
We never use artificial growth hormones or antibiotics in our cattle—EVER. Unlike conventional beef where "no antibiotics" might only refer to the final few months before processing, our cattle are raised from birth to harvest without any antibiotics whatsoever. This strict standard ensures the cleanest possible beef for your family.
How does ordering work?
Simply select your preferred box size option, complete checkout, and we'll handle the rest. For beef shares, you'll place a deposit to reserve your portion, and we'll contact you when your order is ready for final payment.
How much freezer space do I need?
As a general rule, you'll need approximately 1 cubic foot of freezer space for every 15-20 pounds of packaged meat. A quarter beef requires about 6-7 cubic feet, a half beef needs 12-14 cubic feet, and a whole beef requires 24-28 cubic feet of freezer space.
How long will my beef last in the freezer?
When properly stored in a good freezer, your beef will maintain optimal quality for 10-12 months. Many cuts will remain excellent even longer.
How is the beef packaged?
All cuts are professionally vacuum-sealed, labeled with cut name and weight, and flash-frozen to lock in freshness.
